In this talk we want to describe a general concept for the implementation of boundary element methods. Based on a geometrical description we discuss the discretization of singular boundary integral operators using analytic and adaptive numerical integration schemes.
After discretization the discrete matrix representation is used for the solution of mixed boundary value problems in iterative procedures. Due to their general structure all routines can be used for standard parallelization as well as in domain decomposition.

All routines are build up in blocks, e.g. for the discretization or solution methods.
Hence, they can be included in other projects without any problems, as in a coupled FEM/BEM package.
